Smoothie recipes - that use Bananas
I used to run a company (Big Blender) that made cold pressed juices and smoothies. When running it, I would always have a huge stack of frozen bananas in my freezer - they were handy and a great backup for when plans fell through.
In smoothies, frozen bananas add a creamy texture, improve the consistency and stop your smoothie from separating.
They are also a great way to use bananas that have over ripened - honestly, the more over ripe, the better! Just peel them, cut them, and stick them into the freezer to use in your smoothies later.
